# Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of B.O.L.D. and the Watchman mobile application (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or installing the app you agree to these Terms.

## 1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old. The Service is built for adult men in voluntary accountability with their brothers. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

## 2. The Watchman+ feature

Watchman+ is a paid, on-device content filter. It runs locally on your phone using a Network Extension. Browsing data does not leave your device. We do not see, store, or transmit URLs or page content. We do see aggregate counters (number of blocks, last blocked timestamp) which power the team alert feature, only if you opt in to a team.

## 3. Subscriptions and refunds

Watchman+ is billed through the App Store or Google Play and renews automatically. You can cancel any time in your store account settings. Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's policies.

## 4. Acceptable use

Don't impersonate other people, don't post content that targets a person for harassment, don't try to break the system. We may suspend accounts that do.

## 5. No medical or clinical advice

B.O.L.D. is community and a tool for self-control. It is not a substitute for licensed counseling, medical care, or treatment for addiction. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).

## 6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

## 7. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms in a way that materially affects your rights, we'll let you know in the app or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

## Community Standards & User Content

B.O.L.D. has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable, abusive, harassing, or unlawful content and behavior. By posting prayer requests, team messages, or any other content, you agree not to submit content that is obscene, pornographic, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or that harasses or abuses others.

You can report objectionable content or abusive behavior at any time using the in-app **Report** action on any message or prayer request, or by emailing **bryan@boldmen.org**. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours, and we may remove content and suspend or remove accounts that violate these standards. You can also **block** any user from the app to stop seeing their content.
