A report card gives a man six days to build a cover story. B.O.L.D.'s rule for its members is 24 hours: after a fall, you tell your team inside 24 hours. Not next week, not at the next meeting. There is a reason for the number. By 48 hours a man has started constructing the cover story. By 72 hours the cover story has become his reality. Shame moves faster than a weekly email, so a Christian accountability app has to close the gap between the fall and the confession rather than document it afterward.
